  •  There's a crazy guy that doesn't like eating poo. (5+ / 0-)

"Libs" don't like eating poo. Clearly, "Libs" are just like crazy people.

Or maybe YOU are full of "poo".

      reverse bandwagon fallacy.

Because they oppose it, we should embrace it.

Seems like a pretty good way to lose sight of the endgame.

The Tea-Baggers views are largely irrelevant.  If there is a convergence, it is coincidental, not substantive.

      •  No -- I assume that they don't support it (0+ / 0-)

because it's not actually good for them.  Their lack of support is evidence for that.

And, if they've judged that it's not good for them, then I like it more.

corporations against their own interests.  I'm not.  And further, I really don't give a crap what they think or want or don't understand [emphasis on the latter].

When FreedomWorks and Fox can rile them up and get them to work against their own best interests, then I just have to leave them behind until they see the light.

Never assume they know what's good for them.  They don't think things through.  They recite.

        •  My sense is that many of the Tea-Baggers . . . (0+ / 0-)

don't really understand what the reforms entail.  They think the government is going to institute death panels, which means they are simply crazy.

It may be that there are people within the industry who are working inside the Tea-Bagger movement (actually from some of the press reports it sounds like this is the case).  For them, there might have been some rational basis in August to fight against elements of the reform package.
