you perceive me as being on the opposite side from you, and therefore on the wrong side.

I perceive you as being on the same side as me, but dead wrong on the merits and politics of this healthcare issue. (Much as I do with Paul Krugman.)

I don't think you a bad guy.  I just think you are dangerously misinformed on the state of play on the healthcare debate.

    •  I would say I am quite well informed (12+ / 0-)

since I am in regular contact with several members of a House committee with jurisdiction, among other sources upon whom I rely.

And I probably read as widely on this subject as anyone for whom it is not a professional responsibility.

And when you use terms like "dangerously misinformed" that borders on the personal, whether or not you intended it to.

do we still have a Republic and a Constitution if our elected officials will not stand up for them on our behalf?

cannot really expect to be taken seriously with a UID like "flubber".  And have you noticed that no one has rec'd any of your comments here?  Not one single one.  That's quite an achievement and you should try to figure out its significance.

Also, you should re-read the prayer by Reinhold Niebuhr that teacherken so kindly included in this diary.
