  •  Actually, no. Soap stresses bacteria so that (4+ / 0-)

    it is loosened and removed more easily by water.  This is something one learns when one writes the exam for food handling, as I just did.

    Anti-bacterial products contain something that actually kills the bacteria, allowing it to become resistant through mutation.  There's a huge difference.  

    Chlorine bleach is so deadly that to date no bacteria has adapted (to my knowledge.)
