  •  Hey - apparently torture is legal in the US . . . (0+ / 0-)

    cause I know for sure that Dick Cheney and George Bush authorized enhanced interrogations which meet the definition of torture, and we also know that 30-40 detainees died in custody due to beatings and mistreatment the Medical Examiners determined to be homicide . . .

    . . . but apparently the 1,000,000 square feet of lawyers in the DOJ can't get their shit together for long enough to indicts a ham sandwich . . .

    so if the government refuses to enforce the law against torture, can it really be said to be illegal?
