    Crist might be a conservative, but Rubio is completely batshit, Santorum-style. Better Crist as a Democrat than Rubio as anything.

      Rubio would vote 'no' on anything.  Crist would threaten to vote 'no' unless legislation got severely watered down.  I don't like this situation.  It'd be akin to wanting Blanche Lincoln or John Thune.  That's an ugly choice either way.  I rate this as a 'push'.

      I wish Meek could get some more support from the party apparatus.

        He is also more of a politician, which is good in this case because he's much more likely to act like Spector and run to the middle of his party, whichever party that is.
