        obviously just my opinion.

but i cannot see anything about Crist that would suggest he would. well, yes, he's an opportunist. That's true. But long term, I'm not sure it would serve his long term interests (ie running for president as a GOPer).

        :)

        •  Running for POTUS as a GOPer? (0+ / 0-)

Charlie Crist has absolutely no chance of winning the 2012 Republican nomination.

One picture will destroy him in the primaries amongst the wingnut base:

Perhap you are thinking that he'll run in 2016?  I don't know... 2016 is 7 years away, and trying to predict candidates' chances that far off is a waste of time.  But I can tell you that Charlie Crist absolutely, positively will not win the GOP primaries three years from now.

          •  well i agree with that (0+ / 0-)

no way will he win a GOP primary. But I also, As a FL resident, don't believe he'd switch.  I do happen to think he is planning a 2016 run and this entire senate thing was to bolster his resume for that purpose.

but you're right, he's toast in the GOP primary for sure. IF he stays in. I;m expecting his to drop out in February.
