  •  That is completely shocking, not just that it (4+ / 0-)

happened, but that the teacher and the principal seem to not be taking it seriously. The parents need to be persistent and need to not back down.

As to what might be going on with the headaches: is it possible that when he went unconscious, or in the chocking process (geez it feels awful just typing that) that his head moved in such a way to give him a concussion ? How is his memory ? How is his vision ? Just a thought. He does need to see a neurologist, it sounds like.

Sad that all of this has happened,
                     Hugs to all,

    •  Apparently he did get a concussion (0+ / 0-)

His dad told me this morning he hit his head twice --- once or maybe both times, while still in that classroom, as he feel from wooziness from low blood pressure.

His dad assures me he's under the care of an excellent neurologist, so hopefully that means all bases are covered.  I didn't know about the falling before and just couldn't find any references to headache with strangulation, plus personal experience makes me aware of how "the medical test not taken" can kill you.
