    ...a second-hand Mattel Vacu-Form, and my cousin Joan had the Lionel Plastic Technology set. Lots of flammable and toxic stuff in that little educational toy.

    BTW, anyone ever have a Gilbert Fluid Dynamics set? Not the Kenner Hydro-Dynamics set (my mother nixed that, but I bought one of the new ones from Bridge Street Toys). I've seen a video online with a tantalizing peek of the thing and wonder what it consisted of. Seems that science education toys have an intrinsic risk factor built-in.
