    representation of what a SCOTUS refusal to hear a case actually can mean.  But who cares, as long as we get to get all worked up about alleged wrongdoing?

      that the 9th circuit ruling stands as precedent in the 9th circuit?

      I guess it can mean a number of other things, too. But that in it's own right is pretty fuckin' bad.

      I live in the 9th circuit. A note from the president (or one of his many uniformed representatives) qualifies me for indefinite detention without being charged, not to mention torture in preparing a case against me. I'd be pissed if my president argued for some bad shit like that, man.
