    Address ranges implicitly start with zero so the FIRST address actually existing typically is Address 1901. Zero is where there isn't an address. Although that really is just convention, since street addresses normally address the number range inclusive "the 1900s" there's nothing wrong with starting with 1900 and ending with 1999 - the question of HOW MANY addresses there are in that range is still the convention about "do we start with 0 or 1"?

    Without geometry, life is pointless.
