    of ketjap manis (a common Indonesian kind of soy sauce, and is rather sweeter than Chinese soy sauce or Japanese shoji or tamari. It's pronounced "ketchup", btw.) and

    I can't have either soy sauce (made from wheat of all things) or this ketjap (made with sugar); do you have any alternate suggestions.

    Otherwise, these recipes are making me salivate.
