    It took me seven years, but you CAN beat city hall.

    How did I do it? By being at every meeting that had to do with housing in my community, and speaking calmly and rationally, and not being bullied but instead standing in my truth. By the time I was done they had gone from looking down on me and dismissing me to quoting me.

      to hide drug stuff.

      They bought the store, and the first week they owned it, put a bunch of that, weapons and other crap, right next to the candy for the little kids to see.

      So little Janie is asking what that cool looking pipe is for, and can she have the pink one?

      I was able to get many members of the community motivated to walk in to the store, select their wares, deposit them at checkout, then state why they won't buy, and leave.

      Took a week for that stuff to go away.

      IF THEY ARE GOING TO SCREW THE PEOPLE, MAKE THEM OWN IT.
