  •  you know what, it's reality and it has an (0+ / 0-)

effect on her career, rightfully or not. It is what it is. Sorry for the tired cliche, but I just don't think that the fact that it's old news makes it irrelevant.

    •  I don't pretend to know what goes on with Bill (0+ / 0-)

and Hillary, but it is clear she tolerates Bill and his cheating, perhaps she loves him and knows he loves her and has simply moved past, or perhaps she sees him as a political asset, either way it is her business, and I don't care.
What I am happy about is when Hillary is given the opprotunity to shine on her own, she shines. I am happy and grateful President Obama realized this too, and put her in the position of Sec. of State. Initially, I turned my nose up at the choice even though I beleived Hillary to be strong enough to stand up to all the world leaders and still speak her mind. I was opposed, thinking it was just political payback. I don't think so any longer. It appears to me, Hillary and the President agree on many issues, they respect each other, and I think she enjoys working with him and speaking out for this President and this Administration. Finally she is in the spotlight and Bill is in the background, where his cheating and lifestyle doesn't matter, nor does it effect her ability to do her job. Hillary is indicative of so many women of our generation, never really assessed for her own abilities but always assessed for the accomplishments of her husband. I am glad President Obama gave her the chance to shine, I think it prove he gets it.
