    include the filibuster, but it doesn't proscribe it either. The founders did not "reject" the filibuster.

    There's obviously a balancing act in a democracy between adhering to the will of the majority and protecting minority rights.

    Whether the filibuster goes too far in limiting majority rule is a valid question. But it's important when we have this discussion not to conflate pure majority rule with democracy.
