    Because trickle down economics worked so well for us during the Bush years.

      reliably.

      The last two "stimulous" plans (one Republican, one Democrat, both about the same size and scope) primarily went to those who got us into this mess in the first place, with few bones thrown to everybody else.

      I claim if we (they) would have taken that $1.5 trillion and divided it evenly amongst 300 million men, women, and children....the $5000 per person would have done a uch more effcicint job of solving problem.  That money would be trickling up so fast, it would have made our economic wheels spin again.
