    Very enlightening.  He contends everyone  who wants a relationship sanctioned by the state should be entered into a civil union.  Additional "marriage" rites should be held by churches for those couples who desire religious recognition.

    He realizes that if this were the case all laws, federal, state, etc., would have to be rewritten to replace the word "marriage" with the term "civil union," but he contends this change would be worth all the trouble to take the "sanctity" reference out of the arguments.

      a new word for 'Person' so that religious nut-bars can call fetuses 'People' without causing confusion.
