if the Positions were switched, we know we would be asking for the same thing.

i was about to say the same thing when i saw this.  the sore loser comment sounds an awful like the "sore loser/gore" stuff four years ago.

In other words, if one side can dish it out (i.e. the post-2000 cacaphony of "GET OVER IT YOU WHINERS!!!"), they sure as hell ought to be able to take it.

It sounds like half the posts regarding the recent presidential race around here. Did Kos's comment for folks really just sail right over everyone's heads?

between Gore and Rossi is Gore didnt even get to finish his recounts when SCOTUS stopped it. Here, Gregoire payed for a recount; the recount was finished, and showed Gregoire ahead.

Al Gore didn't get his recount; Dino Rossi did.

Kerry hasn't gotten his recount either. If you've read any of the reports posted by Cobb on the Green Party website, you know that what happened in Ohio wasn't a recount, it was a dog-and-pony show. Blackwell violated election law nine ways to Sunday, and is counting on the Republican party apparatus in the state to prevent him from being called out over it. Will it work? We don't know yet.

Its like the media listened to Weird Al's "Dare to be Stupid" and said "Yes! This is how the world should be!"

Gregoire stated publicly that she would abide by the results of the hand recount.  Use that as a counter to Mr. Rossi.

Gregoire even insisted on conceding if the dems couldn't come up with enough money to recount the entire state. That's her sense of fairness.
