    BUT my problem stems from this.

    Good 1911 in 10mm > money I'm willing to spend.

    I looked at the Razorback as my next purchase, but dropping a grand on a pistol: wife != happy.

    We need another Huey P. Long and federal funding for abortion. -9.00, -4.05

      I had clearance from 'Mrs. Seaview' to buy a 10mm Kimber for $995, but I chose the Glock 20 instead for less than $700.

      I'm glad I did: I was never a Glock fan, but that big 10mm cannon converted me. Once you get used to the trigger -- it happens quickly -- those 15-round magazines seem just right.

        I've shot a few Glocks and I have two issues.

        Natural point of aim: right on with the 1911, yet not so much with the Glock. The grip angle just doesn't do it for me.

        When you hit someone with a plastic gun, it just doesn't do the same damage. A huge chunk of steel (about 3 lbs worth) helps out though. ;-)
