  •  too late maybe (0+ / 0-)

He's been attacted by the Huffingtons, Greenwalds and Krugmans to the point where Independents and Democrats alike become depressed and decide to either not vote or vote for the guy who will stop him with his no votes. Hamsher's (who used Huff Post ,Daily Kos, her own blog and Fox to attack Obama's policy's and methods) minions have bitched and moaned over something called a public option that would define the bill in their eyes as either a great step forward or a waste of money and invasion of rights by cramming it down our throats with a mandate, then obviously we end up with enough depressed and angry voters to put a halt to everything he's trying to do. Congrats guys it looks like your efforts have had the impact many of us feared when y'all started in on him the second he abbounced Rick Warren would give the invocation. I blame all this shit on the rabble rousers.

    •  How many people do you think read these sites? (0+ / 0-)

I tend to think its primarily political junkies.  I don't know how significant it is to the voting population in MA. Also I was speaking to some strong supporters of Obama and Democrats who said they stopped reading the blogs because it is too depressing.  Based on the comments I have read on Huffington Post, it seems to becoming a right wing blog.

      •  they bring the blogs to the TV (0+ / 0-)

These "progressive" blog figures are all over primetime TV, not to mention as I said Shultz and MTP. Besides I still visit this site but Im beginning to wonder if its because i cant avoid watching the train wreck even though it alternatly depresses and enrages me. The cable hosts and reporters also refer to the people on these sites as the base. Most of the time in the the context of them being angry with this President when the truth is they arent the base at all.
