when I am standing out there freezing my ass off holding a sign for Martha?  I will be thinking of you Shahryar in all your warmth and smugness while I am doing more for Martha Coakley then either she or you did for her.

    •  well, yes, I suppose I am smug but... (0+ / 0-)

I don't see it in what I wrote. Other stuff, sure, but not this one. Holding a sign is good. It reminds people who haven't voted to go to the polls so good for you.

I can't hold a sign for her. I'm not there. I might go down to Bradbury headquarters here in Oregon to see if there's any Coakley stuff to do. Since I don't know much about her I'll need a cheat sheet on her positions. All I can do here is phone, I think. I know that sometimes people don't trust out-of-state calls but in a close race it's worth the risk.

anyway, my point in my post above is that I like honest discussion about what we're doing right and what we're doing wrong but when an election hangs in the balance, like this one, let's put aside bickering until later.
