...did think it went too far.  They were the far right republicans.  They are the minorty even if the amplification that FOX gives them makes it seem otherwise.

There are times when people have to know when to STOP!

If you really are a progressive, DO NOT use this time of party turmoil to start trying to divert everyone’s attention to a drum beat for the public option. Right now, the party needs EVERYONE to help get the public excited about whatever healthcare reform it is dems are able to pass and allow them the chance to fix it later. If you keep up with this PO stuff, you can just hand the country over to the corporations that the supreme court want to run it!

Now is not the time for public options demands! This is an attempt to get the public PISSED OFF if they don’t get the public option so that dems lose even if they do pass healthcare but don’t get the public option! STOP IT! The party needs for you to HELP, not become divisive at this time.

...comment relates to mine but what ever.

So you are saying we have to shut up and ditch the public option so the administration that really didn't fight hard for health care reform can pass a fig leaf to save face.  If I can see though that I bet the voting public can as well.

        •  IMO we need to recognize (0+ / 0-)

that this party doesn't respond to protest votes by tacking left; they tack right.

I think that the senate bill plus a Medicare age of eligibility deduction passed via reconciliation and some other items is a better scenario than the status quo.  I actually prefer opening Medicare to 55+ over the House's PO.

      •  I agree with you (0+ / 0-)

I so completely and utterly agree with you.

I think that people are being sold a fantasy, and heavy emphasis on the word sell...meaning a transaction and cash changing hands.

The time for attacking the senate bill is OVER in my very very strong opinion.
