    I can testify that it is federal law that publishers must first have their heart removed, and then their brain. They must also pay for the removal, but they have to do it from withheld payments due their authors.

    Fact.

    Until we break the corporate virtual monopoly on what we hear and see, we keep losing, don't matter what we do.

        in both Nicaragua and Iraq, headed McGraw-Hill in the interim. During his tenure You've never seen a more vicious customer to deal with. They want everything instantly, and keep putting off contracts, and when you finally get one they try to find ways in which you broke it to get the price down. Finally, you get paid months after the money was due.

        Incredibly slimy organization at the top. Although the rank-and-file MHers are a fine and creative bunch.
