    the discussion of the President's advisors is a red herring.  I liked the President in the campaign specifically because he repeatedly said he would not surround himself with people that always agreed with him, which is the way I would or would like decision makers to do it.

    I know what I think and why I think it, now what's the other view and why.  Then make a decision.  That's the way I see the President making decisions.  I take what was said and written in the campaign by him and the campaign as what he thinks and obvious offshoots from that.  The purpose of those around him are to give him a counterbalance.  By the way there are progressive voices in the administration and the President not be a downright progressive but definitely leans our way is one of them.
