He was raised with Welfare and now he is a Repug.  What would his mother have done if not for elected democrats.
He does have the charisma and hot air.  He will be the new star of the Rs.  god they need one.

    •  However.... (0+ / 0-)

....if he runs for President, he'll never survive the primaries. The Teabaggers might love him for winning a Senate seat, but they'll hate him when he states his actual views.

the Republican primaries shape up in 2012.  I was initially worried about Brown and 2012, but I still wonder about Palin.  She's still speaking at the Tea Party Convention, even though Bachmann and others have pulled out, undoubtedly because she feels she has to corner the market on these people.

Brown used them to get elected, but he's clearly positioning himself to capture indies.  He has to.  He's from Massachusetts.

On the one hand, Brown is worrisome because he's clearly more electable than Palin.  However, to win the primary, he's got to have the Tea Party.  That's going to be difficult for him in light of polls like this one, and in light of the fact that Sarah Palin is going to be on television a lot between now and 2012.

Hopefully, (assuming they both run of course), they'll divide Republicans and Obama wins again.  That seems quite plausible at this point.
