you have no constitutional rights. The State Department makes this pretty clear when you leave.

    •  Damn. Where did you go to law school? (10+ / 0-)

That is absolutely false to claim that a U.S. citizen loses constitutional rights upon departure from the United States.

That's an OUTRAGEOUS, STUPID FUCKING LIE!

Why don't you start by reading what it says in a U.S. passport.

And even if that lie were true, you can't legally murder people whether or not they have rights under the U.S. constitution.

little guy aren't you? Emphasis on little.

        Here we go:

Your constitutional rights are not extraterritorial. So, for example, if you travel to Belarus and decide to give a speech on a soapbox condemning their totalitarian government, you can't claim 1st Amendment rights because you're American. If they want to beat the shit out of you and jail you, too bad. They do not supersede sovereign laws wherever you land.

What does follow is the the constitution binds the United States government in its dealing with you overseas. While the United States is bound by its own law within its territories, it is also bound by the laws of lands wherever they happen to be..inasmuch as their is state agreement saying so.

So, if you are in Yemen and associating with terrorists, if it is legal for the Yemeni government to bomb you, it is legal for the American government to do so as well with Yemen's permission.

Similarly, if you were running around in Kentucky with armed rebels sword to destroy the United States, they could bomb the shit out of you in Kentucky as well. The constitution cannot be used as a shield for acts of treason. Here or abroad.

To claim the Constitution gives people extraordinary powers that it does not, is not only false but dangerous.

Here is an article from the 1989 volume of the American Society of International Law that proves my point:

Your post here is just pulled out of your butt, and has as much truth as the rest of your ravings here.

And my goodness, you have no idea how crushed I am to have a wingnut maniac like you call me "little."

Again, what law school did you graduate from?  No one has said they have US Constitutinoal rights in a foreign country FROM that foreign sovereign nation.

Nothing you have said indicates the US government is allowed to kill you overseas on a whim.  Apparently, even you can vaguely understand the constitution binds the United States government in its dealing with you overseas.

Go back to school for a refresher course in something other than knee jerk cowboy legalizing.

believing the U.S. government can kill any U.S. citizen it says needs killing, and so long as the person has left the U.S., the Constitution is silent on the matter. There isn't much capable of surprising me anymore. That probably would do it.

If I live in Yemen, I still retain the right to vote in us elections, as one example.
