about the Obama WH trash talking her fellow Ohioan Rep. Dennis Kucinich, falsely accusing him of holding up health care reform?

Does she have a strategy, if elected, for not allowing the WH to use dirty tricks to hurt her if she's elected?

    •  You seem to be the doubting Thomas here (6+ / 0-)

Among the things you may not know about her is that she's tough. There was no way she could have cleaned up elections in Ohio if she was easily intimidated. The Republicans fought her every step of the way and she didn't hesitate to take people to court when it was necessary. She totally turned over the BoE in Cuyahoga Co.

If she were faint of heart, don't think there's a chance she would have entered this race. The signs were certainly not auspicious. Her strategy? Maybe a bit early for specifics but I think it's safe to say that she talks truth to power - an admirable quality to my way of thinking.

She's done a series of women's forums around the state. I did one with her - gladly - because health care reform is one of my major concerns and she's the real deal in terms of fighting for women's health care. She's also an unapologetic supporter of gay marriage and there aren't too many folks like that around.

Support Jennifer Brunner, Ohio Secretary of State, for the US Senate. We need real progressives in Congress!

      •  She is tough (4+ / 0-)

How else could she stand up to the numerous lawsuits the GOP was throwing at her over the most trivial things in some cases.

The purpose was to create outrage against her.
I witnessed this at a BOE meeting in which a Republican tried to raise outrage against her and tried to blame her for McCain's people mistake of sending our incorrect information on an absentee ballot.
When the Dem board member quized him ,he finally admitted it was their mistake. Not before making a total fool out of himself in front of a room full of people. This is how Republicans win elections.Expect a lot of lies to be told during this one.
Everyone that knows the truth needs to be on  guard against the lies that will be told.

    •  It's not her job to get in the middle (3+ / 0-)

pf fire figts between individuals. She probably thinks, like most Ohioans do, that Dennis is good-hearted but wildly impractical and responsible for a more conservative House bill than we might have had had he been on board plus when exactly did Obama personally attack Dennis?  And how can a sinle junio senator develop a "strategy" for personal interaction? She's strong enough to answer back to anyone, but defending Dennis isn't her job. Most of us don't. His vote on health care was counterproductive.
