"Are you for total elimination of all filibuster and hold procedures from the Senate?"

This is the question I will ask anyone running for the Senate, the House, the Presidency, the courts, even the state legislatures.  This is my new litmus test.

All of our problems trace back to the Senate's unconstitutional supermajority rules.  Even the Supreme Court problems trace back to the Senate's inability to convict criminal judges, due to the one supermajority rule disastrously embedded in the Constitution.

Meanwhile, we're 17th Century Poland -- actually, that link doesn't explain it, we're really 17th century Poland -- and nothing else we do will matter.

We may not be able to convince the Senate to give up their country-destroying rules on their own, though we should try.  We may have to force it through from the House, the Presidency, and/or the states.  DeGaulle would have.
