    It's a military hospital. Does the fact that it's a government facility make any difference in the question of liability? Are military of veteran patients able to sue them?

      Dating back to the early 1950's, active duty members of the military cannot sue the government or government doctors for medical malpractice.  But their spouses and children, and veterans, can.
