  •  I missed the part about Inhofe (8+ / 0-)

so I didn't know what the producer was talking about -- I need to go find the podcast and get caught up.  I have seen the clip of Inhofe gloating about finally having PROOF that global warming (or climate change, I believe Bill Nye wants us to call it)is a figment of Al Gore's imagination.  So infuriating -- and as others have said, WHERE ARE THE DEMOCRATS to counter such nonsense??

    •  I was thinking last night right after her show (8+ / 0-)

that the WH and the Dems owe Rachel and KO a big debt of gratitude.  These two have stayed the course with their fact finding and nightly broadcasts.

They obviously respect each other and both treat their audience with the expectation that they don't have to dumb down to inform and entertain, although the random silliness is always appreciated...at least by me.

      •  you are so right about Rachel and Keith. (5+ / 0-)

I just wish they weren't preaching only to the choir -- especially Rachel is so clear and easy to understand, I think even a teabagger might get a clue if there was any way to get them to watch.  I know that would never happen.

Maybe the Dems need a spokesperson assigned to watch Keith and Rachel every night and then go on morning shows or whatever the rest of the country watches and relay the information.  I volunteer!

And I also love the occasional goofiness!

          "Thanks for watching the show".

I think Rachel has a huge viewership among the pols in DC possibly including the President.

She has established a reputation of being a serious reporter and commentator and one who stands by the facts. It is obvious that her guests feel comfortable with her and know that they will be treated fairly and politely.  I've only seen a few interviews which showed Rachel's merciless style when she exposes a fraud or a liar.

I hope you do get the chance to get out there and relay the information :)

        •  I too wish more of the country would watch Rachel (0+ / 0-)

AND Keith. The American people would fall in love with Rachel. She is so intelligent.
