...reporters, anything that isn't military, or that's smaller than a Boeing is a "Cessna."

It's kind of like if a Ford had a sticking accelerator and crashed, and the reporter stood there right in front of the car that clearly said "FORD" on it, and then said "...and another Toyota has crashed due to the sticking accelerator pedal.  More details at 6:00."

Its just another great example of why nobody should get excited about this yet.  They don't know jack shit, yet they're all prentending they do....

Let's have the police and proper authorities investigate before deciding it's a teabagger.  My money is still on it being something rather less sinister.

      •  The Cirrus SR20 can carry nearly 350 lbs of... (0+ / 0-)

...aviation fuel.  And that's the usable quantity -- there will probably be more in reserve, and some that cannot be used, since it'll be away from the pickup...

350 pounds of avgas will make quite a nice fire...

    •  First reports said Piper (0+ / 0-)

which is usually the small plane people mention in my experience.

      Cessnas are for rich people.

My brother-in-law built his own Piper in the garage. And yes, it flew and I rode in it.
