      But if I just wanted to make sure my swan dive made the local paper, then there would have been literally dozens of other things to hit in that area.  The Apple call center is there.  IBM has a campus there.  There's a much taller hotel in that area.  Also the UT campus is maybe 3 minutes from there by air.  If you just want to be famous, then why not smash into the clock tower in UT campus?  On top of that- he'd have had a direct path into downtown Austin, which is full of tall buildings, the aforementioned UT campus, and the largest capital building in the country.

      I dunno.  I hope/reckon I'm wrong.  But Austin has a lot better things to hit than some anonymous building on a hill if you want to make sure your fiery death makes it into the paper and onto cable news.

      I'm just glad he did not hit the actual IRS building down in the southwest of the city.  My roommate's at work there.
