    He has made it pretty clear in public and private conversations that he isn't planning to run for Governor this year. No other high profile Progressive Party names have emerged as potential candidates.

    The Progressive Party leadership has gone as far as meeting with most of the leading Democratic candidates to explore areas of commonality.

    It seems very unlikely that a strong Progressive Party candidate will run for Governor -- so the race will be basically a one-on-one race between Dubie and the eventual Democratic nominee (with a half dozen or so minor party and independent candidates on the ballot - including the newly founded party advocating for Vermont secession).

    Once social change begins,it cannot be reversed. You cannot uneducate the person who has learned to read...You cannot oppress people who are not afraid anymore.
