and despite my sincere conversations, people in Northern Michigan seem to believe that he is the only Democrat who can win there. Stupak has big Achilles heels--he's taken big money from a couple of long term brown field polluters, and the effects (special ed and disease rates) in a couple of remote regions are shocking. But no one wants to believe anyone else can win there.

So we try to identify a few competitive races in other areas we know, and contribute time and funds there.

Dems of less than idyllic proclivities to keep in mind is this: They help keep Nancy Pelosi (or any Dem)
speaker. The numbers count. If it weren't for them, we couldn't set the agenda.

Granted, sometimes they derail it, but the alternative is much worse.

and only support primary challenges, not third party candidates that could dilute the majority.

But we really, really need to get on the stick. The trash talking here makes me sick.

And the conspiracy among MSM to discourage good candidates is so transparent to me that I can't believe we aren't talking about it.
