    an incumbent in a primary is very tough. You've got to have a well thought-out strategy. None seen here yet.

    I'm in the pro-Obama wing of the Democratic Party.

      ...of luck.  This is a reliably Democratic district.  Even the local Republicans have Ds by their names (if you don't believe me, take a look at the voting records of the state house and senate "Democrats" and the political contributions made in 2004 by some of these so-called "Democrats").  It is very difficult for a Republican to win that seat, but a tough economic environment can probably transform the primary into a competitive one.  Still, this is an argument for Mr. Withers himself to make.
