    If you willing to pay for the really good stuff, you have to buy it from Germany or Japan. US Steel is still hiding behind subsidies, tariffs and barriers rather than telling its shareholders to hold their breath while it retools its factories and retrains.

    They may finally be getting better in response to customer demand, I don't know. But it's never a good sign when a company cedes the lucrative markets because it's afraid of the upfront investment cost.
