  •  Another CT possibility is this - (0+ / 0-)

The CT Joint Committee on Labor and Public Employees will hold a  public hearing on March 2nd to  discuss CT Bill HB 5285 (violence and bullying in the workplace).  Although this bill will only cover state employees, it includes an excellent definition of workplace bullying.

Connecticut should be the first state to pass a bill that will protect workers who have been bullied in the workplace. For our state to be at the forefront, the bill should include provisions similar to bills formerly introduced, such as SB 60 in 2008, which makes a bully liable for his or her behavior if she or he intentionally and maliciously causes a worker to suffer health-harming effects. Businesses can be protected from frivolous lawsuits if an an affirmative defense for businesses is provided, if they have responded to prevent the bullying.

If you only have a chainsaw, you tend to see every tree as a problem.
