If Harold persisted. Guess he realized the wooden stake that KG had all sharpened up to drive into his Senate hopes was vicous and strong enuogh to end any possible future he had in politics. Democratic Party politics.

He still has a future in the GOP.

    it tastes like burning...

    •  I'm very glad he's out. (5+ / 0-)

I would have been spending money (which I can ill afford right now) and time (which I can now look forward to using on other races) working my butt off for Gillibrand.

Also, this may not be as over as it looks. Ford has also been in contact with the Independence Party of New York, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Michael Bloomberg, Inc. He may simply have decided to avoid the bruising primary, accept their ballot line and head directly for the main event. And of course the NYS Republicans are looking for a live one for this race. Harold?

The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

he is done politically. I'll bet even his corrupt family would disown him. Talk about pyric victory bridge burning...( Yep, mixed metaphors. Only the best for Harold.)
