    Thanks Soj

As a relative newbie (long time lurker, recent poster) I would add just two notes to your excellent synopsis:

One, if you interrupt your ratings to add a comment, and neglect to hit rate all first, all your ratings disappear.  I learned this the hard way in C&J, as GWB would say 'adding all those 4s is hard work!'

Two, please set margins, especially for pictures, so they don't spread comment text out so far that it doesnt wrap properly. (Maybe someone could post a reply explaining how to do this.)  Keeping the wrap is really helpful for subsequent readers.

    •  Point two addressed already-thanks! (none)
    •  Need to Click "Rate All" to Rate Any? (none)
Something I'm not clear about:  If I do not click a "Rate All" button before I close a page, do my ratings go unrecorded?

I'm thinking the answer must be yes, but that's usually the precise thing I do just as the trouble begins...

Thanks so much for all of these clear and useful instructions, everyone (and especially Soj)!

the answer is "yes".  You must click "Rate All" at least once to record your ratings.

T'is a small effort and I was only afraid that giving one 4 and clicking "Rate All" might spread it around in an unseemly fashion.  People DO get pregnant from touching doorknobs, you know.  Even with just their hands.

(It's true.  I read it on a Freeper blog.)
