    actually an attempt to point out that centrism and moderation are not applicable in every single case in life as some in this era would want people to believe.

    It is a pretty simple thesis - sometimes you just have to go into the party if you want to participate in the action, etc.

    If you want to actually go swimming, you have to get into the water.  

    You can't be "a little bit pregnant".

    You get the gist of what I am saying.

      Maybe I'm just really tired of the polarization.

      My Jim Bunning is inflamed so I have been forced to use that toilet paper with the lanolin in it.

        The thing is that this holier than thou attitude has to be put to an end if the conflict is to be moderated.  That means that the so-called "cenrists" have to admit that a center line route is not always practical - as much as the liberals and progressives have always admitted.
