how on earth could you know that?

I was at an OFA meeting last week and there were easily 70 people there and they were all fired up and talking about bringing friends and knowing others who wanted to get involved...and many of them were relatively new to politics. One was a Republican who voted for Obama and wanted to get more involved in electing Democrats - even though she's a registered Republican.

So, I think your assumption is off base.

Telling 30+ million people to suffer the status quo is the Republican plan. Are you a Republican?

    •  Well, I hope I'm wrong. (0+ / 0-)

But turnout in off-year elections is way down and I don't think it's unreasonable to say that the 4.2 million people who voted for Obama aren't going to turn out for Kendrick Meek when only 2.8 million showed up for Bill Nelson in 2006.

I'm gay, I'm pissed, I'm not giving up, I'm not giving in, I'm not shutting up, and I'm not going away. Deal with it.

      •  We don't need all 4.2 million... (0+ / 0-)

we just need more than Rubio gets.

        •  We have to hope... (0+ / 0-)

...that our drop-off from 2008 isn't as great as the GOPs.
