One of them, Traci "TJ" Johnson, does have a website, which she finally updated. It won't do her any good though. Neither qualified for the ballot. Johnson is now threatening to sue Jennifer, claiming that as secretary of state, she engaged in partisan politics in keeping Johnson off the ballot. Johnson, however, apparently doesn't know that it's the county boards of election, not the SoS office, that actually validate the petitions. I understand virtually all of her signatures came from Franklin County so she'll have to talk to them. (I spoke with the Franklin BoE yesterday and confirmed this).

Now I know some people are sticking with their theory that Lee Fisher put these women up to this. I have another theory. This lobbing completely baseless charges at the job Jennifer is doing as SoS has a familiar Republican ring to it. ACORN! ACORN! Doing this could be useful to the Republicans, no matter who wins the Democratic primary. If it's Jennifer, they have pre-smeared her. If it's Lee, they can blame it on him and demoralize Democrats some more.

    •  Thank you for the update (0+ / 0-)

I couldn't remember their names and from that post that I saw, it sounded like they just popped up at the last minute.  Yeah it could be a case of the phony ACORN-bashing kind of stuff.
