banning employment discrimination will help Ken Cuccinelli with the right-wing base?

If you were talking about that BUllSHit legal advice, Cuccinelli gave to Virginia colleges, then i would see your point, but i don't see how McDonnell's executive order against employment discrimination is going to help Cuccinelli.

      •  Now they can say he's a martyr to the cause. (1+ / 0-)

Poor Pitiful Cuccinelli. He tried to be biblically correct, but the governor wouldn't support him.

I think the term martyr should be reserved for those who literally gave up their life for a cause. But the wingnut brigade is very fond of using it figuratively.

          •  Maybe it's because I live in wingnuttia (0+ / 0-)

            Alabama, to be exact.

Of course I was pleased in 2003 when the Alabama Court of the Judiciary kicked Chief Justice Roy Moore to the curb. He had violated a federal court order in the 10 commandments kerfuffle. But it seriously riled his base. I think I was more scared after he was removed from the bench than before.
