    The effect is to undermine the possibility of a Federal remedy in the form of Federal Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA) which has languished forever in DC.

      that far ahead. But it is a dangerous meme to allow to go unchallenged. Already too many Democrats and progressives believe the LGBT community already enjoy legal protections we're fighting hard to actually get.

        it is a larger problem even more generally believed. That's where the bigots get their idiotic "special rights" language.
