that happen on a college campus that does not do what he says.  Taking advantage of prosecutorial discretion is the only way I see for the AG to actually do anything about it.

    •  Yup, same as failing to prosecute rapes (0+ / 0-)

      in the above-cited religious theocracies.

After all unless four men are willing to testify that they witnessed a rape, it's not a rape but rather adultery under Sharia law.

      - Gotta love that 11th century bastardization   (and dehumanization of females by male-Islamic-clerics) of the original 600s koranic verses.

Now that Afghanistan is again devolving back to Hamid Karzai signing a law that officially refuses to protect women and sanctions marital rape and starvation of wives by their husband - all in violation of Afghanistan's constitutional protection of women - we are starting to see this cycle start all over.

I mention women and connect this to religious fanaticism because, cyclically, the most vulnerable in theocracies are now those within these two groups: women and gays IMHO

For example, we now see the criminalization of homosexuality in Nigeria [?] with a new law that is controversial not only because it is so disgustingly devolutionary - but also because this horrific new law has been implicitly supported by well-known US Christian RW religious leaders [read: 'fanatics']

We will restore science to its rightful place....We will harness the sun and the winds and the soil .... All this we can do. And all this we will do.

    •  prosecutorial discretion not his (0+ / 0-)

belongs to the Commonwealth's Attorney (elected DA) of the county or city where the criminal offense is alleged to have taken place.

do we still have a Republic and a Constitution if our elected officials will not stand up for them on our behalf?
