  •  Why does industry have any (7+ / 0-)

    say in the matter?  The whole point is to get away from the use of hydrocarbons.  So why are senators even talking to the industry that relies on producing hydrocarbons?  It just doesn't make any sense.  I'm dizzy.

      all their time meeting with the Sierra Club and climate scientists, but instead...sigh.  The bill has the potential to be a massive clusterf*ck.  By taking the sector-specific approach, they're trying to avoid hurting Big Oil's feelings, which thinks that Big Coal got more in the ACES porkfest than poor, poor Big Oil -- and feel free to add your own obscenity to that load of cr@p.
