    less than two nickles to rub together. She takes care of everybody. The only people she doesn't really have to worry about is me, my kids and her oldest son, their dad, and that's because he has more money than she does. Two of her sons have autism. One of them is 24 and doesn't talk. I worry about her a lot. We still haven't climbed out of the poverty hole enough to even really help that much. A few other cousins are in the same position. Our kids will get a little further away from poverty and so on.

    People make me so angry pretending not to understand how hard it is to break generational poverty cycles. As if they dont know that the road to hell is wide when you're a poor kid or parent and opportunities are lesser. The most insignificant things add up to contribute to hopeless poverty.
