     Michael Thurman, Labor Commissioner.  He may run for Lt. Gov.  I think you're right about Thurbert Baker.
    Poythress would make a good Senate candidate.
    I think Isakson is much less vulnerable than Saxby was.  No Max Cleland issue and had  a record as an unembarassing Northern suburbs of Atlanta Congressman.  Also sponsor of the homebuying tax credit.
    OTOH we should get a Democratic Governor.  I think primary may tighten between Barnes and Porter, either of whom would work for me.
    If the state legislature keeps doing nothing but cutting taxes I also forsee a potentially Democratic state legislature which would be priceless re redistricting.
