I don't know what leadership was smoking thinking it would be done this week.  This last big push has been for naught.

First the CBO score was to come down late Monday, than surely Tuesday, then absolutely on Wednesday.  And the vote went from possibly Thursday, to Friday, to Saturday, now to Sunday.

And I have little doubt it will be pushed back again and again.  Eventually it will be pushed back until after Easter.  And then more and more.

It's a crying shame,  but it's never going to get passed - just you watch.

Dems fucked this up. Some very likely on purpose.

for the Senate Bill unless you tax the middle class.

It really is a crappy piece of shit that the Senate produced. I dennis Kucinich has been bashed here a lot lately.

But everything he said about this bill was correct.

No bill can make health insurance truly affordable for every American without taxing the middle class.  Even the Tri-Committee bill, which had the highest subsidies of all, did not have sufficient subsidies, IMO.  You're simply not going to be able to raise $1.5 trillion - $2.0 trillion, which is what is necessary to make health insurance truly affordable, without taxing the middle class.
