like Kucinich, he represents a moderately conservative district that was previously in R hands. He's running scared, from what I'm not sure, and his reasons are BS.

scared of what ? LOSING HIS JOB?  well boo f'in hoo... millions of Americans have already lost their jobs AND THEIR HEALTHCARE COVERAGE and they need this bill to pass so Mike can just get ready to join the ranks of the unemployed for caring more about himself then the people he is supposed to be serving.

good on the unions for telling him to take a flyin leap.

It's not like I was defending him - just trying to figure out where he's coming from, and whether he might still be movable despite the statement.

He's gotta know that if the unions pull out, he's dead meat. Stay tuned.

I was yelling at ACURI or actually, I was type-yelling in frustration at the selfishness of congressional members who worry more about keeping their jobs then actually doing their jobs <frustrated sigh>

maybe we should demand a bill creating a law that says if you are against HCR for America voters you dont get to keep your free healthcare privided by those voters taxes :)  I bet we wouldnt have a problem passing a HCR bill if that law was in place.

we could call it the 'do unto others' law ;)

that once he sees all his union support evaporating, he'll change his mind.

I'd love to know how Catholic his district is. Unless he's a pro-life nutcase, and it's the most important issue in his whole life, like it is for Stupak, he's got to realize that the Senate language is still pretty damn restrictive, and he should be satisfied with it.  Otherwise, he seems to be committing political suicide for no good reason.

    •  Indeed (0+ / 0-)

He doesn't know what the right move is for his political future.

SEIU and WFP are making it easier for him to see what it is.
