      I met him yesterday and his views seemed pretty solid from what I could tell.

        as soon as I get official word.

        His views are "pretty solid" although he doesn't have much of a record for standing up for them in a crunch. He's decent enough but clearly the establishment insider candidate. He's focusing on jobs, but hasn't come up with an explanation for quitting as director of development that will stand up to scathing attacks from Rob Portman. More later.

          You're mad he's running against your candidate in the primary?  That's "shattering" the party?

          I was expecting something more with the hyped up language you were using.
